Ok, having actually seen the Star Trek movie, I can totally see the resemblance in features.

Unfortunately, I don't see this as a good thing since I think that actor is not at all attractive. I was thinking while I was watching the movie that they should have picked an actor who was at least somewhat good looking since William Shatner was a looker when he was younger.

I'm sure Mark has a much better personality than some hollywood big headed actor ;)

Sorry, I can't agree. I think he is totally hot. Which leaves me oddly conflicted, since he reminds me so much of my son. Weird.

lol! timpani, i think the young will shatner was, *ahem*, totally NOT hot, while the new guy (what the heck is his name?? i can never remember, although i've been told a bazillion times) is a total cutie. he was in just my luck with lindsey lohan too, and i really got a wriggle out of that movie. yes, i will watch just about anything. ;)

oh! i just made a connection! the actor (agh! name?!) reminds me of micheal weatherly, who was in dark angle and is now on NCIS who just makes me all weak in the knees.

Ok, Liz, have you actually seen the old TV series or are you just going by the Star Trek movies? Because, by the time Shatner started doing the movies he was no longer a looker!

my parents are trekkies. i've been watching star trek since i was an itty bitty girl. so yeah, i've seen him in all his "glory", lol! not impressed. ;)
