Okay world, I'm about to admit to something that I'd rather not. So, for you more perfect than me persons, I'm sorry to disappoint. My 1 3/4 year old child said the word "darnit" except that it was the bad version of that word. Yes, that word does sometimes escape my lips when vexed. I am so going to the bad place! Well, at least I've made it to child 4 before I had one repeat a bad word. Maybe I should add another resolution to my list below.
I might add that Bruce thinks that it is hillarious that he learned a curse word from me. He considers this a "Get out of jail free card."

ah hahahaha! that's beats my "oh crap" story, no question!! too too funny!
Even though I don't say the bad version of "shoot" Quisqueya says a baby word that sounds like it. It comes out like "shi" or "sheh". She says it all the time, over and over. I can't wait till she says it at church. Vance imitates her too, and now he says it. I don't know where she got this word but I wish this would stop!
Ha! When Zach was two, he couldn't say "frog". And yes, it totally came out as another four-letter "F" word, which he was happy to share with everyone around him. During sacrament meeting? You bet.
When Vance said "fox" it sounded like the "F" word. All of our fox animals mysteriously disappeared for awhile.
I think "darnit" is pretty bad Renae, but not so bad as some other words other kids have picked up over the years.
wow. i am feeling rather saintly. my kids have never said bad words, or anthing that sounds like them. yes, i do believe my parenting is far superior to anyone else's. perhaps i should think about writing a book...and perhaps teaching a course at the local college. yes, i do believe that is a great idea...
Renae! I forgot to tell you that you have some lurkers in Relief Society! Oh, a lurker is someone who visits a blog or bulletin board, but does not make comments.
Lisa Bowerman said the other day she visits your blog and a couple of other ladies in Book Club said something about seeing it before!
I think they should come out of hiding and post comments!
I totally agree! Reveal yourselves pronto! (Oh man, more people who know that I only now and then say the d-word! Oh how I wish I'd never have posted this. Oh well, no I ain't perfect or anywhere close - and now everyone knows.) Anyway, I'd totally love all "lurkers" to reveal themselves, and if they are bloggers too, I would love to check out theirs. Comments totally make my day. I'm a total comment junkie / geek.
