So, what the hay, I can use boy name suggestions from any source possible. For those of you who don't know, we didn't name any of our boys until it was past time to leave the hospital. The nurses said we could go home as soon as we had a name on the birth cert. (each time), and we sat around for a couple of hours trying desperately to agree on something good. With Justice I told Bruce to go and put something down on the birth certificate and come back and tell me what his name was. He wouldn't do it though.
Liz, I'm sorry but I can't save you from "Thor." It's just too ... caveman. I think that I am going to try to include Harlan for sure this time. It could be a middle name, so any suggestions should be compatible.
Anyway have at it. Who wants to be the one to name my child? I don't promise anything, but let's face it: Bruce and I are just no good with boy names.

how about hiro? as in hiro nakamura? hiro harlan. i think it works. or how about peter? peter harlan. i like peter. he's my favorite. or mohinder? i like mohinder too. we could call him moe for short. okay, just kidding about the name mohinder. or james. james is not a name on heroes (that i know of) i just like it. james harlan. that's not bad actually. so, those are my suggestions for now; hiro, james, or peter. i know i just totally solved your problem. your welcome.
So, you liked the series as much as we did? I can't wait for season 3. Have you finished both series? When you've got a good portion through, go back and watch the first episode again. Mohinder's accent in that one will completely crack you up! I really like Mohinder, he so ... honest, good, I don't know the word. Plus he's nice to look at.
Ok, as for the names, eh not crazy about Peter or James. Too ordinary. Too many Johns too (especially in our family). Hiro, um no. Too big headed.
we LOVED it. we went through the entire first season in one weekend. we just couldn't stop! john hasn't seen the last episode yet. he wants to "savor" it. i couldn't wait, so i watched it a couple of days ago. freakin' awesome!!! yeah, peter and hiro and mohinder are soooo my faves. you know the actor that plays mohinder is from london right? i think that's hilarious. vt's are here! gotta go!
Ohh, I have only seen the first season of HEROES, but I liked it. I almost stopped watching because Mohinder is the absolute most attractive man I have ever seen. They made him scruffy towards the end of the first season, so that helped.
Hmmmm, Vincent Harlan? I like Vincent, but we can't use it because I think Vincent and Vance would be too confusing. Plus, we might not have another boy anyway, or what if we had three boys and the third boy would be like "Hey! Why didn't I get a cool "V" name!".
You can watch the 2nd season on Netflix's watch it now. Or you can go to NBC's website; they have full episodes on there.
I'll have to mull Vincent over, not bad.
john doesn't want to watch the 2nd season over the internet, he wants to wait until it's out on dvd. i know. he's wierd. our video on the computer is not the best though, so it might be kinda sucky. anyway, and yeah, mohinder's hot. but i think i like peter better.
I prefer names that didn't make the top 100 list for at least the last 3 years. Ambrose, Parker, Xander, Clark.
That's funny Malauna- Zander was the only name Trever and I kinda agreed on before we knew Ava would be a girl. It's one of those names though I would love for someone else, but don't think I'd name my son it- I'm more of a top 100 names person (Ben, Joshua, etc.) but Trever hates all typical names.
So I now have a list of 40 boy names I like that aren't too common(and 40 girl names too- I know I'm nuts). If you want all of them I'll elaborate but to start here are a few of my favorites:
Alec, Bronson, Channing, Davis, Ellis, Griffin, Hayes, Holden, Kendall, Marshall, Meyer, Sutton, Thayer, York, Zander
Thayer is interesting, I've never heard that one.
